What is garagekit.club?
We originally opened shop.zimmerit.moe in 2023 to sell extra copies of the original books we were producing for our Patreon supporters. The success of that shop and our books inspired us to aim higher and so garagekit.club was born as a permanent web shop for selling our original books and a curated selection of vintage items.
garagekit.club was launched with these goals:
- Sell original Zimmerit ‘zines, books, and merch
- Offer vintage garage kits, books, and other goods
- Work with Japanese creators to import original garage kits and doujinshi
- Design and create our own kits and figures

We don’t sell recast garage kits. Recasting hurts the garage kit industry. Recasting hurts independent creators. Recasting puts an inferior product into the community. Every kit we list on garagekit.club, whether it’s new or vintage, will be an authentic kit from the original manufacturers.
