When AKIRA was first released in English by Marvel Comics' Epic imprint, they hired Steve Oliff to color Katsuhiro Otomo's artwork. Never properly collected in English, these color versions of AKIRA remain a unique part of the legendary manga's history.
While this set includes issues as released North America, the package itself comes from Japan and was targeted at folks looking to practice their English. Included are issues 4, 5, and 6 from Epic's original run, packed in a unique slipcover and accompanied with a bilingual English-to-Japanese booklet of all dialogue in the issues. Note that the comics are in English.
Condition Notes: Used, all items show some wear (slipcase is has the most damage). Overall decent condition, binding is still in good shape for all books. No missing pages or major examples of damage.
