Akira Toriyama was an avid scale model kit builder and back in 1985 he pioneered with Mugen Kidou no Kai to produce an original plastic figure based on an illustration of a German Infantry woman. It's tough to decide if this is a garage kit or not because the production quality of the packaging and the fact it's cast in plastic (instead of resin or vinyl) is top notch for the era. Years later, Mugen would become the plastic model kit manufacturer Fine Molds, but back in 1985 they were much closer to an amateur group.

This particular kit is a rare limited edition called the "Hikari Limited Edition" but it does not include all limited edition parts. The additional gun and arm parts normally included with this version of the kit are not included, although the blue plastic plinth is. It includes all of the original pieces from the basic kit so it is still a complete model.
Condition Notes: Box shows some shelf wear with faded labels and yellowed tape stuck to the front of the box. Includes all original pieces of the kit still sealed in plastic, but does not include the limited edition SMG or resin arms.
