Hobby Japan May 1994

Hobby Japan's roots go back to 1955 and a miniature car shop in Yoyogi, Tokyo. Since 1969, it has been the premier Japanese model magazine.

This issue features articles about Gundam (of course), Five Star Stories, and Godzilla. The cover story about the 300 issues of Hobby Japan includes a year-by-year breakdown of the magazine's publishing history and various comments and interviews with notable writers and modellers. Of particular note is a photo feature on a build of Kotobukiya's legendary 1/220 G-Commander kit. Includes usual Hobby Japan features like how-to guides, custom model kits, information on latest releases, etc.
