Macross Plus This is Animation Art Book

This book includes lots of lineart and background material for the first two episodes of the 1994 OVA Macross Plus. In addition to the character artwork, mecha schematics, and other background art you'd expect, this book also includes a broad survey of variable fighters and many then-new designs like the VF-5000 and VA-3. The book's last section is a full-color section of different squadron markings from the Macross world.

This book was released at a time in the history of Macross productions when Shoji Kawamori was returning to the franchise and things were being shaken up in the wake of Macross II.
