Kow Yokoyama’s Maschinen Krieger originally debuted in the pages of Hobby Japan in 1982 under the name SF3D, blending a hard sci-fi story with photos of original scratch built models. The resulting series created by Yokoyama and Hiroshi Ichimura would inspired dozens of plastic kits, an untold number of garage kits, and lots of books and other merchandise. After copyright issues hampered SF3D in the late ‘80s, the series returned in the late ‘90s under the new name: Maschinen Krieger.
Third in the Ma.K in SF3D series of books from Hobby Japan, this volume focuses entirely on the iconic SAFS powered suit with the cover boasting "over 130 SAFS" inside. Tons of photos, variations, background bits, and building guides, plus an interview with Kow Yokoyama and Max Watanabe. Includes exclusive decal set. Full color, softcover.
