Mecha Press #14

Mecha Press was a mecha-focused magazine with anime and tabletop game content published in the mid-90s. Created by Ianus Publications, the publisher of the long-running Protoculture Addicts, many of the staff behind Mecha Press would go on to form Dream Pod 9, the game studio behind Heavy Gear and Jovian Chronicles.

The so-called "house special," this issue focuses largely on Dream Pod 9's original game worlds: Heavy Gear, Jovian Chronicles, and Moonlight Mechanix. Anime coverage includes articles on Zeorymer and Detonator Orgun, model kit reviews, and episode summaries for Armored Trooper VOTOMS. Includes a Battletech short story and stats for the GM Cannon from Gundam MSV for Battletech. Includes Heavy Gear Fighter cards.
